The Honddu River is slow moving and shallow - three feet at the deepest - and about twenty feet from bank to bank. One can have breakfast on the riverbank while overlooking the water and it is normal to see kingfishers fly close- by. Rooms appointed are primarily for language-learners staying for a language-immersion experience. Bristol má dvě vynikající univerzity, stovky hospod a restaurací, moderních i tradičních, muzea, kina a zelený prostor. Bristol byl v roce 2015 evropským zeleným kapitálem. Pro „shopaholics“ Cabot nákupní centrum a St Nicholas Market má vše, co potřebujete V Bristolu se vždy děje něco - hudební festivaly, největší evropský festival horkovzdušných balónů, přístavní festival, potravinové festivaly a další.
